Acta Poultry Indonesiana (API) is a peer-reviewed journal that adheres to the ethical standards set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). This statement outlines the responsibilities of all parties involved in the publishing process—authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher (CENALIS)—to ensure integrity, transparency, and fairness throughout the publication process. The journal is committed to best practices in ethical publishing, error correction, and retraction procedures. Any form of unethical behavior—including plagiarism—is strictly prohibited.
Editorial Responsibilities
- Editors decide which manuscripts are published based on scholarly merit, relevance, and compliance with journal policies.
- All submissions are evaluated impartially, regardless of authors’ background or beliefs.
- Manuscript details are kept confidential and shared only with relevant parties.
- Unpublished material must not be used for personal research without written consent.
Reviewer Responsibilities

Author Responsibilities
